The Kirwan High Creative Arts Academy Visual Arts specialist subject develops student's abilities to think and work in a creative and imaginative way. They will extend their artistic aptitudes and skills in an academic learning environment. This program offers a unique opportunity for students who demonstrate a passion for Visual Arts, including Cultural Arts.
Visual Arts styles and skills that are covered in this course will include basic drawing technique, painting, mixed media, sculpting and developing folios of work. Students will also have the opportunity to work with renowned artists. Artworks developed will be exhibited at school and in local galleries. There is also ample opportunity for students to enter their works in local, state and national competitions.
