The Kirwan High Creative Arts Academy Music specialist subject boasts a proud tradition of outstanding music education. It provides talented and dedicated young musicians with opportunities to enhance their musical potential as performers, composers and musicologists.
Through Music, students will be provided with countless opportunities to showcase their talent and develop their musicianship within a supportive environment. The focus of the program is to develop students skills in performance, composition and responding to their own and others' music, developing an appreciation for music from many different genres and styles. They will combine these skills to develop high quality work to be showcased at a number of events and performance spaces.
