Academy coaching staff

Kirwan High has highly qualified and experienced teachers who manage the programs in both technical and tactical aspects. Many of our teachers also act as regional and state level coaches in their chosen sport and also have relevant training in fitness and strength and conditioning. Program managers also develop strong links with regional coaching directors who often provide our staff with support and pogrom advice. Academy students will also undergo fitness testing and have individualised programs developed by one of our partners, Synergy Sports Performance.

Kirwan also has many former students competing at the highest level in their chosen sport such as Sam Thaiday, Jacob Lillyman and Brent Webb – Rugby League greats; Lisa Braunburger – Basketball; Aiden Rintala – Hockey; and Chris Davis who was selected in a prestigious American University’s Soccer program.

A fee is attached to this program to cover the cost of participation.
