P&C meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the First Year Centre (FYC). The meetings provide a wonderful opportunity for parents to be informed and involved in our school.

Past achievements from the P&C include - contribution to the John Livingston Building, electronic signs, building fund, petition for the new Hall with Aaron Harper MP, Smart Choice's introduction with the tuckshop and introduction of the new uniform.

The P&C has a number of subcommittees, such as the Creative Arts Support Group and Sports Academy Support Group.

Each month we meet to share ideas and provide updates on projects occurring across the school community. Everyone is welcome!

This year we are offering parents another way to be involved. If you can’t attend meetings but would still like to be involved, please send our secretary your name and email address and we will add you to a list to receive minutes of meetings and agenda details. You can provide feedback via email or if it is an issue of importance you can attend the meeting. The secretary email address is

With increased parent attendance, we increase the knowledge, experience and connections within the association which enables us to make better decisions. Having a board range of parents across a number of year levels with children involved in a number of programs such as sport, arts and academic provides us with a balanced decision making process. Our goal is to make this the best school possible and we need your help to make that happen.

We only have approximately 10 meetings a year which go for around 90 minutes, so for a total of 15 hours for the year the benefits are as follows:

  • A way to show your children that you place a high importance on their schooling and are willing to be involved in their schooling in addition to the support you give them at home.
  • A way to meet and develop a working relationship with the administrative team of the school. Normally the Principal gives a report at each meeting and is very open to questions from parents on policy and procedures. This is a great insight into the school operation as well as a point of contact if you do have any issues.
  • It is a way to give time to the community and also show your children that it is important to be involved in the community.
  • It gives you an idea of the direction that the school is taking – what they are working towards and see as important which allows you to make an informed decision for your child’s education.
  • It is a place to voice ideas and concerns directly with the school and gain a better understanding of decisions made.
  • It is an avenue to all work towards a better school for your child.
  • A place to meet other parents and potentially make some new friends.
  • A place to increase your community contacts which can increase your opportunities into the future or your son/daughter’s opportunities.

We are lucky to have a very profitable Tuckshop and so fundraising jobs to date have been non-existent which is great for all time deprived parents.
