The Kirwan State High School Creative Arts Support Group (CASG) is a vibrant subcommittee of the P&C Association. CASG is committed to supporting the school's Creative Arts Academy (visual arts, dance, drama and music) with its goal to provide inclusive and positive learning opportunities that inspire students to excel as confident and caring creative artists.
CASG will achieve this by:
- Fundraising for Creative Arts resources
- Supporting opportunities to showcase students
- Supporting opportunities to showcase Kirwan State High School
- Supporting opportunities for performing experiences
- Giving time and energy
- Providing input, ideas, advice, and feedback
- Maintaining a communication link for parents

Focus Goals
- Give support to help develop and enact a creative arts program that will foster the development of the department and the students, as well as create opportunities for students to showcase their creativity and talents.
- Promote Kirwan SHS Creative Arts Academy as a highly respected program, producing quality creative artists.
- Encourage connections with community groups and provide opportunities for enjoyable and rewarding experiences by sharing arts in the community.
- Encourage future development of the department and support Kirwan SHS as a proud public school, thereby making the arts accessible to all.
- Create a sense of belonging and generosity.
- Support students to develop passion and confidence as creative artists.
Meetings
Meetings are held at the music block on the second Monday of every month at 5:30pm (February to October, except school holidays).

How can you get involved?
