The Kirwan High Creative Arts Academy Drama specialist subject is designed for students to explore the dramatic art form through a series of styles and forms. Students will engage in learning experiences that allow them to communicate ideas, express feelings, value artistic forms and make sense of the world in which they live.
Through Drama, students will be provided with countless opportunities to showcase their talent, within a supportive environment. The focus of the program is to develop skills in acting (scripted and improvised), creating or forming drama and stagecraft. They will combine these skills to develop high quality work to be showcased in local, national and international performance spaces.
