Student absences

To inform the school of your student's absence, please make contact on the day of the absence, in one of the following ways:

  • Letter of explanation to the Rolls officers in the First Year Centre

  • Telephone voice message: +61 07 4773 8108

  • Email:

When reporting absences, parents/guardians should state the student's:

  • name and HGR

  • date of absence

  • reason for absence

  • expected duration

If the student is absent two or more days a medical certificate must be provided to the Rolls Officers in the First Year Centre.

Office hours

Office hours at 8.00 am to 3.30 pm Monday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Tuesday to Friday, during school terms only.

Update student records

Parents/guardians should email the school about any change to student or parent personal details (including email, mailing address, telephone). The email should state the student's name and HGR class.

In writing: complete a Student Details Change Form (PDF, 97.5kb) available from the School Office in the Administration Block.
