The Kirwan High Hockey Academy is a specialised program designed to improve students understanding of playing structures, positional roles and tactics. As well as providing students with opportunities to develop their own fundamental and advanced Hockey specific skills. The Hockey Academy program aims to produce well-rounded athletes and passionate Hockey players.

Athletic Development
Students also participate in a range of weekly strength and conditioning training sessions that aim to develop students' overall fitness, strength, agility, speed and endurance, with an emphasis of injury prevention.
Students' athletic development is tested and tracked each term to allow students the opportunity to assess their progress and identify specific goals to improve their overall athletic performance.
