Year 12, Term 1 Exam Week Information

Bring all required equipment to your exam
Year 12 Block Exams

Week 9 is the Year 12 exam week. This was brought forward form Week 10 due to the required changes to the dates of the leadership camp. The detailed examination schedule and room allocations are included on the attached block exam schedule found Year 12 Exam Timetable 1 pager.pdfYear 12 Exam Timetable 1 pager.pdf.

A few important things to remember about the exam week.

·       Monday 19th March is a Year 12 study day for all students. Both OP and VET students are not required to attend school on this day and students are expected to use this time to study. Most VET students will have a Maths exam the following day, and English Communication assessment on the Wednesday. Therefore, to build the school’s academic culture, they will be given the same opportunity as the OP students to prepare for this important assessment.

·       From Tuesday 20th March – Friday 23rd March OP students are only required to attend when they have an exam. This will allow them to sustain their study efforts during throughout the week and do their best in every exam.

·       From Tuesday 20th March – Friday 23rd March VET students are required to attend their normal classes, except when they have an exam which they must attend.

·       Students must wear their full uniform for all exams, bring all required equipment, arrive with sufficient time to prepare for the exam and enter with their fellow students when the teacher arrives.

·       All students who have a scheduled exam must attend that exam. The only acceptable justification for an absence from an exam is a significant medical reason, which must be supported by a medical certificate.

We wish all of the Year 12 students the best in preparing for and undertaking their exams. Parents can support students by ensuring they complete as much study as they can, eat healthily and break up their study with short periods of relaxation and exercise.
